In chapter 5 verse 9 the Beloved is asked by the skeptics what makes her Lover so different from anyone else? There are many others, why is Jesus so special; why do you think He is who He claims to be? She answers in verses 10-16 by giving a detailed description of Him. His beloved recognizes the many beautiful things about Him that can only be known by having a close and intimate relationship with Him. To know Jesus is to love Him and to love Him is to know Him. Many go to the extent of just knowing about Jesus Christ but not really knowing Him in a personal and intimate way. How about you?
